Education
Universal Emotional Education.
An essential part of working life, not an optional wellness benefit.
We train people for everything except being human.
Companies teach systems, compliance and sales. Very few teach how a mind behaves under pressure, in disagreement or in uncertainty.
The curriculum
Five areas.
Understanding the Mind
How thought patterns, stress, attention, emotional responses and uncertainty influence everyday experience.
Human Relationships
Communication, empathy, conflict, boundaries, listening and psychological safety.
Understanding Pressure and Scarcity
How time constraints, financial insecurity, uncertainty and lack of resources can influence behaviour and decisions.
Human Leadership
How managers and leaders influence work environments, employee experience, trust and organisational behaviour.
The Education of Living Well
Personal well-being, agency, recovery, purpose and the relationship between work and life.
How it can be delivered
Options to explore with your organisation.
- Live learning sessions
- Structured educational series
- Manager learning cohorts
- Blended learning
- Annual organisational education partnerships
- Digital curriculum access In development
Live sessions, series and cohorts run now. Digital access to the curriculum is being developed and is not available yet. The right shape depends on your people and what you want to change, so it is agreed in conversation rather than chosen off a menu.
One course already runs today: The Emotional Language Class, a four-week workplace cohort on the stories, identities and expectations behind what people feel.
What this is not. Emotional education is education. It is not therapy, counselling or clinical treatment, and it does not replace an employee assistance programme or professional mental health care. Part of it is helping people recognise when to seek that care.
