Workplace Conditions Pulse.

A way for organisations to understand how employees experience their working conditions, and to follow that over time. This service is in development and is not available yet.

Organisational learning, not workforce surveillance.

Potential areas of feedback

What it would ask about.

  • Workload
  • Autonomy
  • Management support
  • Respect
  • Communication
  • Job security perceptions
  • Belonging
  • Access to resources

Principles it will be built on

Protecting the people who answer.

01

Aggregate insight only

Results describe groups and conditions. No individual mental health profiles.

02

Anonymity protected

No reporting on groups small enough to identify a person, and no individual responses shown to managers or colleagues.

03

No unnecessary health information

It asks about working conditions, not diagnoses.

04

Consent and POPIA-aware handling

Clear consent, clear privacy terms, and data handled in line with South African privacy law.

What this is not. The pulse is not a clinical or diagnostic tool, and its questions will not be presented as clinically validated. Any established instrument would only be used with the right permissions and methodology.
